Created by Kevin Biegel (Cougar Town), Enlisted brought the soldiers off the front line and gave viewers a comedic look at what life's like for those members of the Armed Forces who are stationed stateside. As Stults portrayed the war wary super soldier, he was joined by Hill's two younger brothers - Cpl. Derrick Hill (Chris Lowell) and Pvt. Randy Hill - and a host of other ragtag soldiers in Florida.

The series premiered on Jan. 10 to 2.41 million viewers, but soon viewership sank to 1.33 million for episode 9 ("Paint Cart 5000 vs. The Mondo Spider) in March and the last three episodes were pushed until June.
