Two outsiders desperate to become part of the in-crowd that is the Forrester family will have to face the consequences of their actions on The Bold and the Beautiful-even if it means they will lose the relationships they have in the process.

Carter Confronts Maya Over The Steam Room Incident

Carter (Lawrence St. Victor) learned that Maya (Karla Mosley) had hit on Rick (Jacob Young) in the steam room-and now, he will be forced to confront his fiancée for not only lying to him, but to see if she does genuinely want to marry him at all.

"I want you to explain why my fiancée was hitting on another man," he says to her in a preview clip for the Tuesday, July 15 episode.

Aly 'Doesn't Need Protection' From Oliver?

However, after Maya attempts to defend herself by revealing how much she genuinely wants to a legitimate Forrester, and not someone who can be easily disposed of and removed from the fashion family's empire, it could destroy the couple's engagement for good.

"I was dating the heir to the Forrester throne! I was almost one of them!" Maya says.

Maya wasn't the only outsider desperate to get in. After Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) initially fired him, photographer Oliver (Zack Conroy )began dating his niece, Aly (Ashlyn Pearce)-and admitted to Maya that he just wanted the job security that came with dating a Forrester. However, at the time, he had no idea Maya was recording him-and since then he has genuinely fallen for Aly, and has admitted to being in love with her. But in an effort to keep an unpredictable Maya from destroying his relationship and playing the recording for Aly, he has decided to tell her himself-but will maintain once again that he has fallen for her.

"Everything I've said to you is real," he promises Aly in the clip.

However, Aly will no longer believe him, and his honesty will come with a nasty price-Aly's broken heart.

"I thought you were my knight in shining armor," she says.
