Filming for the third season of House of Cards was disrupted on July 14 because of a Tornado warning in Maryland. Showrunner Beau Willimon initially posted a picture of the cast and crew stuck in the green room to keep safe.

"Tornado warning in MD. Entire cast & crew of @HouseofCards gathered in green-screen room for safety. Wish us luck!" he tweeted on July 14.
But Willimon had an update on the situation later on the same day, letting fans know that things had stabilized and the team was busy working again, with a funny meme in which Kevin Spacey's character Frank Underwood is seen saying, "I despise tornados...there, I said it."

"Whew. Tornado warning over. Everyone at @HouseofCards is gettin' back to work!" Willimon posted with the picture.
The second season of House of Cards just earned a whopping 13 Emmy nominations and the Netflix executives are completely psyched by this massive pat on the back. So the producers sent across an ice cream truck to the site of filming for season 3 to celebrate with the crew of the show.
The third season of House of Cards is currently filming in Maryland, where the first and second seasons were also shot. Initially, the continuation of filming of the third season of the Netflix series was fraught with troubles over the past few weeks as the producers weren't getting permission from the State of Maryland. But the issue was finally resolved on April 25.
