Greg Berlanti, executive producer of CW's Arrow, has dropped some tidbits about the upcoming third season of the show to whet the appetite of the devoted fans.

Arrow's Stephen Amell Dishes On Show's Future

In a discussion with TV Line that appeared on Tuesday, Berlanti was a bit coy, but he did give enough information to intrigue the folks who want to know what to expect for season three.

For starters, Berlanti says that the "Big Bad" of season 3 is going to feel different from season 2's main villain, Slade Wilson, otherwise known as Deathstroke. He also said, "Hopefully, fans of the DC Universe will be really pleased who it is," so get to speculating, comic book fans.

Additionally, the show will continue to include flashbacks, but now will feature looks into the past of characters other than Oliver, the main character played by Stephen Amell, who is also, of course, secretly the Green Arrow.

In the official logline for season 3, there is this morsel: "Oliver believes he can finally have a private life and asks Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) out on a date."

Arrow has become one of the most popular shows on the CW, and has already spun off a show about The Flash, another well-known character from the DC Universe. Certainly, this little information drop from Berlanti should get fans excited, if they weren't already. Get ready for a new villain, and perhaps some romance.
