The FBI agent looked like a goner by time season 2 came to a close, but actor Laurence Fishburne recently told TV Line that hw will definitely be stopping by the Hannibal set later this year.

This comes as a relief to fans that believed his upcoming stint on black-ish as sure sign of Jack's demise.

"I'm not going to do a full season of Hannibal this year, and I'm not going to do a full season of black-ish, which will keep me free to do enough of both," Fishburne told TV Line. "It's not a problem. It works out just fine."

Jack and Will (Hugh Dancy) are now the only two confirmed survivors of Hannibal's (Mads Mikkelsen) "Mizumono" killing spree, and fans are still waiting to discover the fates of Abigail Bloom (Caroline Dhavernas) and Abigail Hobbs (Kacey Rohl).

"Don't rule out anybody for dying, and don't rule out anybody for living," warned series creator Bryan Fuller, according to TV Line.
