It looks as though Kate Gosselin isn't having the best week, as there are more details being revealed about her private life away from the spotlight. The former reality television mother is being accused of selling her children's clothes to consignment stores out of greed rather than donating them to charities for children in need.

Kate Gosselin Admits That She Sometimes Cries Behind Closed Doors

Robert Hoffman, who wrote the tell-all book, Kate Gosselin: How She Fooled The World, claims that Gosselin on several occasions has taken piles of her children's clothes to a consignment store where she would trade them in for money.

"I followed her, several times, to a consignment shop in Shillington, PA, where she carried in piles of children's clothing, to RESELL," Hoffman writes. "Kate Gosselin, a millionaire, was selling clothes she didn't even pay for in the first place to those truly in need."

Hoffman added, "There is no disputing this because I watched her and photographed her doing this, and the paparazzi photographed her doing this. I also spoke to the consignment shop owner after Kate had left. This particular shop is 3 miles from my house, and I had been there many times before. Kate was a millionaire getting everything for free and she was reselling her children's free clothing, rather than donating it to the needy."

Meanwhile, there are also reports that indicate Gosselin used to force her children to go on trips with her against their will just to help drum up ratings for her old reality show, Kate Plus 8.

"Mady couldn't take it anymore and called Jon the night before, begging him to come and get her and take her back to his apartment," Hoffman wrote in his book. "She absolutely did not want to go away for more filming and especially not as far away as Alaska. I know this because I went to Kate's house that night with Jon to pick up Mady, and I heard the discussion between Jon and Kate - through the intercom at the gate."

What's more, Hoffman said Gosselin disregarded her ex-husband Jon Gosselin's concerns and was completely livid with him when he tried to reason with her and have Mady stay with him.

Hoffman recently re-released thee book after more claims and allegations were made that Kate allegedly uses her eight children to help elevate her celebrity status. So far, no network has offered her family a spin-off show even though she's made multiple statements on how much her children would love to be on a television show again.
