Sylvester Stallone's son Sage was dead in his room for at least three days, according to TMZ.

News of Sage Stallone's death broke Friday. Now details are emerging about his death. According to TMZ, he could have been dead for as long as a week, a law enforcement source told the site.

He "lived like Howard Hughes" the American business magnate who was unidentifiable at the moment of his death in the 70s for his reclusive lifestyle.

Sage's body was reportedly found by the housekeeper on Friday after his mother, Sasha Czack, was unable to reach him and called the lady to check on him.

He was 36.

The housekeeper reportedly had instructions to never enter his room or even bother to "knock" at the door, according to TMZ.

Law enforcement sources say they found his room "littered with junk" with lots of cigarette butts, beer, soda cans and food, according to TMZ.

They also found two drawers filled with various pill bottles, including "huge" bottles.

Sylvester Stallone is devastated after the death of his son.

"Sylvester Stallone is devastated and grief-stricken over the sudden loss of his son Sage Stallone. His compassion and thoughts are with Sage's mother, Sasha. Sage was a very talented and wonderful young man. His loss will be felt forever," Sage's lawyer said in a statement.

Sage's mother, Sasha Czack was reported to be devastated also.

Czack married Stallone in 1974, but their marriage fell apart and they divorced in 1985.

They had two children, Sage and Seargeoh Stallone. Czack was the lead photographer and co-writer of Rocky, which was first released in 1976. She reportedly retired as a photographer after her second child was diagnosed with Autism.

Sage starred with his dad in "Rocky V" and was an aspiring actor and filmmaker.
