'The Originals' Season 2: Todd Stashwick Could Return As The Departed Father Kieran In New Episodes Of The CW Series [VIDEO]
Father Kieran (Todd Stashwick) may have met an unjust end towards the end of The Originals first season on The CW, but that doesn't mean the actor is done on the series for good.

When it comes to shows dealing with the supernatural, dead doesn't always mean dead and sometimes departed characters return for unfinished business with others.
Recently, Stashwick opened up about his time on the series (featured below), as well as his long and bountiful career. The 45-year old got his start in comedy, performing in Chicago after college before landing roles in dramas and genre programming. Throughout the years he has kept a foot in both comedy and drama, allowing him to move easily from one to another.

Stashwick has been referred to as an actor who may or may not have finished a guest spot with The Originals. Upon hearing this, the actor agreed that with a show like that you never know if you are gone for good, suggesting that the character could return later in the series or even in the upcoming second season, either in the flesh, flashbacks, or even as a figment of another's imagination.
"A lot of comedy is made in L.A., so I don't have to leave my family, but 90 percent of dramas and especially genre dramas are outside of L.A.," explained the actor, who filmed the New Orleans set CW series in Atlanta, Ga, "I did 11 episodes. I would come and go."
After being hexed by vengeful witches, Father Kieran slowly lost his mind before being turned into a vampire so that he could say goodbye to his niece Cami (Leah Pipes) before he opted for death rather than immortality. Before he died, however, the hex turned him against Cami, forcing Klaus (Joseph Morgan) to interfere and kill him.
In discussing the process of playing a man losing his mind, Stashwick laughed. "Crazy kind of is my wheelhouse," he explained.
The Originals returns to The CW for a second season on a new night, Monday October 6 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
