'The Originals' Season 2 News: Producer Julie Plec Teases New Episodes Of The CW Series, 'Epic' Trailer To Be Revealed During Comic Con Panel [VIDEO]
This morning prouder Julie Plec new episodes of the CW's The Originals, assuring fans that a trailer for Season 2 is coming soon.
Actress Claire Holt On Returning To The Originals
"In approx. 56 hours I will be en route to comic-con," tweeted Plec early this morning. The prouder will be there to support both The Vampire Diaries and its spin-off The Originals.
Plec herself will be appearing on a show runner's panel at the San Diego Comic Con this Thursday, with The Originals panel scheduled for Friday and The Vampire Diaries on Saturday.
Dynamics Are Changing For 'The Originals' Season 2
In voicing her enthusiasm for the event, the producer informed attendees that they will be in for a treat. "I've seen the videos we're screening exclusively for the audience," she announced on Twitter this morning, "#The Originals is an EPIC movie trailer of our first 3 episodes."
Plec chose not to expand on the details and the trailer is likely to air on television sometime in the future, but for now cast, crew, and fans are focused on Comic Con.
"See ya soon ;)," tweeted actor Joseph Morgan to Comic Con fans yesterday. Morgan brings the lead character of Klaus Mikaelson to life on the series.
"I need a proper hashtag for the weekend that represent both shows," Plec partially joked in reference to The Vampire Diaries and The Originals. She then handed it over to the fans: "Best idea wins."
The Originals returns for a second season on a new night Monday, October 6 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
