DiMichele touched on her legal case briefly when talking to VH1 in a story published on Monday, saying she was enjoying spending the summer with her family and kids. She also said she was working on her Addiction Boutiques. "Unfortunately, I am still waiting to be sentenced, this should take place next month," the star admitted. "As always, I continue to remain happy, positive and strong for myself and my boys. I have been highly blessed by the constant love and support that I receive daily from my family, friends and fans."

DiMichele also said that "overwhelmed" by the fan support she got after her plea deal became public. "They are constantly requesting updates on our life and I felt that by starting a blog was the best way to keep everyone updated. I'm looking forward to launching new business ventures and adventures."

Alicia DiMichele Reveals She Would Never 'Blast' Edward Garofalo Despite Legal Case

The New York Post reported on July 9 that DiMichele has come to a restitution deal with lawyers in her case. DiMichele was charged with her husband Edward "Tall Guy" Garofalo for taking union pension funds from the now defunct New Jersey trucking company they used to run. DiMichele agreed to pay $40,000 and is expected to plead guilty on August 14. She also faces up to six months in jail.
