As Transformers 4: Age of Extinction raked in the big bucks at the box office, rumors about the sequel are already abounding. The latest development teases a possible title for Transformers 5.

A report dated July 19, reveals that the title for the new movie could be Galvatron Rising. This would imply that Galvatron would be the focus of the next one.

The producers of the franchise have already slated Transformers 5 for release, as they came out with their roster of upcoming movies recently.

According to the list Transformers 5 is scheduled to release in 2016. But fans will have to wait to find out what the exact date will be.

Speaking to Digital Spy, Producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura was slightly noncommital, though, he said that they hadn't decided upon any dates yet and it was too early to be thinking about that.

"We don't have a date. We can hardly handle doing one movie at a time to think about the next one," he said.

But he did add that the discussion about planning for Transformers 5 was not too far away.

"In three or four weeks when the dust has settled, we'll talk about it. 2016 sounds a little rushed to me, but we'll see," he added.

Earlier this year it had been revealed that Transformers 4: Age of Extinction was only the beginning to a new phase in the series, and a trilogy will be led by Mark Wahlberg. But there seem to have been talk of issues between Bay and Paramount as he has set the condition of working on a passion project, like Pain and Gain from last year, before getting toTransformers 5.

While Age of Extinction slayed at the box office it hasn't been much of a success with critics as it has gotten some pretty bad reviews pointing to a sensory overload with excessive use of technical, CGI mined wizardry and a lack of a strong plot, with the human characters almost rendered meaningless.

Transformers: Age of Extinction hit theaters on June 27, 2014.
