When Season 10 picks up, it will have been four months since the events of the Season 9 finale, according to a new report by TVLine. As the report explains, Booth's imprisonment will have an effect on his marriage to Brennan (Emily Deschanel).

"For practical reasons that you'll see, it has a very big effect on their marriage," Bones executive producer Jonathan Collier explains to TVLine. "Booth has to deal with the legal consequences of where they ended up."
As for the rumor that Booth and Brennan's family might be expanding beyond their daughter Christine, fellow executive producer Stephen Nathan suggested to the publication that it's possible.
Nathan said that "the Bones world will be expanding" in Season 10. However, he did not confirm if Booth and Brennan would necessarily be the couple to "expand." Asked if a different couple might have a child, Nathan said, "That's possible," he teases. "Families grow. People have children."
Bones Season 10 is set to premiere Thursday, Sept. 25 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Fox.
