Fresh off her Emmy nomination, Uzo Aduba is discussing what's ahead for her character "Crazy Eyes" on the third season of Netflix's Orange is the New Black.

Taystee & Poussey Should Be 'Full Of Love' In Season 3 of Orange is the New Black

Aduba spoke with TheWrap recently about Suzanne, a.k.a. "Crazy Eyes" and discussed what she wants for her character going forward.

"My wish for her, supremely, I just want her to know that she's valued," she said, elaborating that she should not look for it from anyone else, but from within. "I want Suzanne to know it supremely inside of her that she has worth and that she is loved."

As for what she could reveal about the third season, which is currently in production, she was mostly tight-lipped.

"It is just as riveting as the first and the second [seasons] were," she revealed. "I think the audience will be excited to see the story that we're telling. I'm excited to see where we're going with it."

Aduba spent much of Season 2 under the command of Vee (Lorraine Toussaint), who befriended her and subsequently made her do her bidding. However, with Vee out of the picture, Suzanne will be without a real mother figure in prison, though she seemed to grow closer to Taystee (Danielle Brooks), Poussey (Samira Wiley) and other black prisoners in Season 2.

Aduba was one of five OITNB cast members honored with Emmy nominations in early July. She is nominated in the Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series along with her co-stars Laverne Cox, who plays Sophia, and Natasha Lyonne, who plays Nicky. Taylor Schilling (Piper) is nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series while Kate Mulgrew (Red) is nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series.

Orange is the New Black Season 3 is expected to begin streaming in Summer 2015. Seasons 1 and 2 are currently streaming on Netflix.
