The trailer, posted by Entertainment Weekly, features mostly older footage from the show but the last 30 seconds feature a tease from what is likely to be the Season 10 premiere. The scene shows Booth in prison wearing his orange jumpsuit and sporting new facial hair.
He is also shown on the phone with someone, likely Brennan (Emily Deschanel). Other shots show Booth getting into a physical altercation with a fellow prisoner, upon which a prison guard assures him, "You're not a cop in here."
Booth 'Fighting For His Life' Going Into Bones Season 10?
Booth was sent to prison after shooting three members of the Delta Force in the Season 9 finale amid the chaos of there being a possible connection between the FBI and the Ghost Killer case.
As expected, Booth being in prison will wind up affecting his marriage with Brennan.
"For practical reasons that you'll see, it has a very big effect on their marriage," Bones executive producer Jonathan Collier explained to TVLine recently. "Booth has to deal with the legal consequences of where they ended up."
The Season 10 premiere is set to pick up a full four months after the events of the Season 9 finale.
Bones Season 10 premieres Thursday, Sept. 25 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Fox.
