'NCIS' Season 12 Premiere: Mark Harmon & A Villain To Be Prominently Involved In First Episode [VIDEO]
NCIS has been a ratings juggernaut for years for CBS as it heads into season 12 of the crime procedural. Regardless of what the show does, its large, loyal fan base will tune in.
Tony To Find Love In Season 12 Of NCIS
On Monday, Carter Matt reported on the season premiere episode of the show although it does not necessarily give viewers a sense of what they are going to be seeing when the time comes.
The episode title, as per a report from TV Line, is called "20 Clicks," but to what that refers is unknown. A klick is evidently military slang for a kilometer, and NCIS is about criminal investigations within the world of the United States military, perhaps it is a play on that to some degree.
Gibbs And McGee To Meet Adversary In Season 12 Of NCIS
While the title may be sort of a mystery, or at least not clearly evident of what the story is going to be about, it is known that in the premiere Mark Harmon's Leroy Jethro Gibbs will be in a prominent role, and that a villain will be introduced that will be around for a significant portion of the season.
The 11th season of NCIS ended on a somber note with the death of Jackson Gibbs, but the thought is that the 12th season is going to pick up the action and get some new characters involved. When a show has been on for this long, and has been so successful it has spun off two shows, it has to shake things up a bit from time to time. NCIS will begin its new season on CBS on Tuesday, September 23 at 8:00 p.m ET.
