'Major Crimes' Season 3 Spoilers: Sharon's Son Shows Up To Cause Problems For Rusty After Death Of Tech-Entrepreneur? [VIDEO]
There are two more episodes left in Major Crimes' third season.
Luke Perry Guest Stars On Major Crimes
The last couple of episodes have been a bit more outside the box, but this week's episode seems to be a bit more traditional, in a sense. On Tuesday, The Futon Critic provided a synopsis for the next episode, the ninth in the 10 episode season.
The episode is entitled "Sweet Revenge," which offers a number of possibilities. The main story of the episode, and the primary case, will be: "The mysterious murder of a tech-entrepreneur with questionable morals and possible mob connections has the Major Crimes division working overtime." That could go a variety of ways, of course, but there are a couple of other things going on in the episode as well.
Major Crimes Renewed For Fourth Season
The son of Mary McDonnell's lead character, Sharon Raydor, is going to visit, which is going to cause tension and problems for Rusty, who has been living with Raydor. Furthermore, Jon Tenney's Fritz Howard will prepare to assume the role as the lead of the LAPD's Special Operations Bureau. A couple weeks ago, there was an episode dedicated to Fritz and this unit, and it had the feel of a potential backdoor pilot for a spinoff program. This certainly bolsters that possibility.
Major Crimes has already been renewed for a fourth season, but they have to focus on finishing the stories of this season first. "Sweet Revenge" will air Monday August 4 at 9:00 p.m. on TNT.
