Someone on Agents of Shield is getting a right-hand man in the form of actor Simon Kassianides.

Grant Ward's Redemption On Hold On 'Agents of SHIELD', Conflict On The Horizon

The British actor will join Reed Diamond, Lucy Lawless, and Nick Blood as recurring characters in season 2, according to Deadline.

Named Bakshi, Kassianides character is described as "a confident right-hand man who's not afraid to do the dirty work." The ABC series has yet to announce whom Bakshi will be allied with, but the phrase 'dirty work' tends to pop up more in HYDRA's playbook than SHIELD's.

How Will 'Agent Carter' Series Crossover With 'Agents Of SHIELD'? Hints About HYDRA & Agency's Roots

While Coulson (Clark Gregg) will bring in Lawless' Isabel Hartley and Blood's Lance Hunter to help rebuild SHIELD, there are plenty of villains floating around who could use a trusty lackey. Diamond will play the ultimate big bad of the season - Daniel Whitehall, a.k.a. Kraken - and there is the possibility that Bakshi will find himself in the villain's ranks.

Perhaps Bakshi works for neither of these factions. Could the new character have ties to Skye's (Chloe Bennet) monstrous father? Tell us who you think Bakshi is aligned with in the poll below!
