On Tuesday, E! Online revealed that actress Kelly Frye as Bette Sans Souci, a.k.a. Plastique. The website reported that Frye will make her debut in The Flash's fifth episode.
Plastique was a bomb disposal expert in Iraq, who was exposed to the energy released by the S.T.A.R. Labs meltdown. Now the character has the ability to turn any object she may touch into an explosive device. Frye was previously on Fox's Rake and CBS shows NCIS: Los Angeles and The Mentalist.
'New Superhero' To Be Introduced 'Early On' Next Season Of Arrow?
Grant Gustin stars as The Flash (aka Barry Allen), with Wentworth Miller as Leonard Snart (a.k.a. Captain Cold), and Robbie Amell as Ronnie Raymond, (Firestorm).
Last month, The Hollywood Reporter revealed Wentworth's casting. He is set to appear in the show's fourth episode.
Joining him, Gustin and Amell are Danielle Panabaker, Carlos Valdes, Jesse L. Martin, Candice Patton, Tom Cavanagh, Rick Cosnett and John Wesley Shipp as series regulars.
Fans who love the comic book wont be disappointed by the new show either. "We've incorporated almost everything from the mythology into it and added a whole new backstory," executive producer/chief creative officer of DC Comics Geoff Johns told reporters in July. "[The Flash] is probably the most faithful DC adaptation ever."
The Flash is expected to come to the CW in October.
