Tom Cruise Lashes Out for "Abandoned By Her Dad" Story
Tom Cruise is apparently getting fed up with the information being circulated of him being a bad father.
Turns out that "Life & Style" had put out a controversial Suri headline that read "Abandoned By Her Dad." Cruise's Attorney Bert Fields almost instantly shot the publication an email defending his client over what he deems a lie.
According to TMZ, Fields had the following to say in regards to the outrageous statement:
"That, as anyone knows who saw their photos together yesterday and today, is a disgusting, vicious lie." Fields continues, "Until this week, Tom was shooting a film on location, but he spoke to Suri every day."
Cruise has recently wrapped from shooting the sci-fi "Oblivion," in which he plays Jack Harper and co-stars with the talented Morgan Freeman (Malcolm Beech). Set for release in April 2013, the film is about a court martial that sends a veteran soldier to a distant planet in order to destroy what's left of an alien race.
According to TMZ, Fields went on to add, "He's with Suri right now; and he was with her the day before Life & Style trumpeted their cruelly false accusation. Tom dearly loves Suri and the last thing he would ever do is abandon her."
Looks like Tom won't be jumping on any couches anytime soon!
