Sylvester Stallone has assembled a large team of action stars to join together for the latest installment of The Expendables, but is one former Expendable going rogue and becoming the movie's villain?
'Expendables 3' Stars Talk Characters & What Drives To Join Up With The Team
It appears Mel Gibson may be the big bad in the upcoming Expendables 3, and he is coming after Sylvester Stallone after he left him to die. According to the Hollywood Reporter posted on Monday, Gibson is set to play Conrad Stonebanks, a former Expendable who Stallone's Barney Ross was tasked with killing after Stonebanks went rogue. But Ross didn't do the job properly and Stonebanks is now looking for some revenge.
It also seems like another former Expendable is in trouble and Ross and his team must save him to get more help to fight off Stonebanks. Wesley Snipes will be playing Doctor Death and it seems like the Blade star will be imprisoned near the beginning of the film, leaving Ross and the other Expendables to save him.

Grammer will be playing mercenary head-hunter Bonaparte, who is taked with finding Ross a younger, fitter, and more tech-savvy team. Ford will play CIA handler Max Drummer, who helps the Expendables with air-strikes against Stoenbanks' forces.
The Expendables 3 is directed by Patrick Hughes and hits theaters on August 15.
