Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan (Emily Deschanel) won't be the only couple facing challenges on the upcoming 10th season of Fox's Bones.

While Booth and Brennan are dealing with the former being in prison, another couple will be having problems. Hodgins (T.J. Thyne) and Angela (Michaela Conlin) will be facing some new challenges as Angela continues to deal with juggling her personal and professional life.

Bones executive producer Stephen Nathan told TVLine in a new spoiler report that Angela and Hodgins would continue to be the "emotional rock" for the show, though he soon previewed the troubles they would face.

Booth Being In Prison Has 'Big Effect' On Marriage To Brennan When Bones Returns

"Life won't be easy for them," Nathan said. "Angela's still pulled in two directions - working [at the Jeffersonian] and being with Hodgins. I think there's a sense for all the characters that their lives might have other demands for them. People are going to be changing and wanting different things - as would be the case with any group of people you've known for 10 years."

One of those people with "other demands" is Booth, who is spending time in prison after shooting three members of the Delta Force in the Season 9 finale amid the Ghost Killer/FBI conspiracy case. As seen in the preview clip for Season 10, Booth is getting into physical fights while in prison. Meanwhile, Brennan is be trying to prove her husband's innocence on the outside.

Bones Season 10 premieres Thursday, Sept. 25 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Fox.
