Amid the news that the highly anticipated blockbuster Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is moving its release date yet again, new rumors have been spreading that tease Batman's (Ben Affleck) status in the film.
Metropolis Possibly Destroyed In New Set Photos
New rumors via Bada--Digest are stating that Batman v Superman will feature Batman in his 50s. This version of Batman will have been out in the open for close to 30 years, though he is still an urban legend in Gotham. The publication notes that he will have had plenty of "adventures" as well as a memorial "centered around a tattered Robin costume."
In a way, this version of Batman is almost a reflection of real life, as the Batman character in feature films have been a presence since 1989 with Tim Burton's Batman. There have been seven feature-length Batman movies since 1989, with the more comic book/less serious movies taking place in the '90s while the dark, gritty reboot took place with Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy in 2005, 2008 and 2012.

The publication also reveals that Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) will be experienced by the time Batman v Superman rolls around as well. Much like Batman, her activities will still be under a shroud of mystery, though she goes about her adventures in a different way than Batman.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is now scheduled for release in theaters on March 25, 2016, a move up from May 6 to get away from Marvel's Captain America 3.
