‘Wahlburgers’ Season 2 Premiere: Donnie & Danny Wood Recruit Paul For Fantasy Football League, Counting On Him Making A ‘Bunkheaded Play?’ [VIDEO]
They may always put their family first, but it doesn't stop the Wahlberg brothers from trying to trick one another into something.
On the season 2 premiere of Wahlburgers, which chronicles the lives of Mark, Donnie & Paul Wahlberg, as well as their mother, Alma, and the success of their Hingham, Ma. Restaurant, Donnie and his New Kids on the Block band mate Danny Wood will put their heads together while in Las Vegas, and decide to ask Paul to join their celebrity fantasy football league. The trick, as it turns out, is that they know Paul won't be very good at it, which rigs things more in their favors, and raises more money for Wood's breast cancer charity.
"I have 11, and I need one more person," Wood says to Donnie in a preview clip for the premiere episode.

"Alright, I can find someone. You want me to find some football fans, I've got plenty of people," Donnie replies before he's interrupted and told that Danny wants someone else.
"We want someone who doesn't know anything about football," Wood says. "We need a mush."
With that, Donnie then calls Paul and asks him to join the league, because he knows Paul is the perfect candidate to fill the spot-because he wouldn't genuinely pay enough attention to the game to be considered good-giving Donnie and Danny more chances to win.
"I figured Paul would be the perfect choice, because he's so busy," Donnie explains. "He's got no time to play fantasy football. This takes a real commitment."
Alma and Mark also feature in the clip, as the Wahlberg matriarch becomes addicted to playing games on her phone-so addicted in fact, that she actually hangs up on Mark in the middle of a conversation so she can get back to what she was doing.
Wahlburgers season 2 premieres Wednesday, August 13 at 10 p.m. on A&E.
