As Dancing With the Stars pro Derek Hough continues promoting his first book, the fan favorite dancer is revealing his thoughts on all of past celebrity partners.

Len Goodman Likely To 'Miss A Few Shows' In Dancing With the Stars Season 19

Speaking with HuffPost Live, Hough was asked this week if he could name his favorite celeb to work with over the years.

"Oh my gosh! I honestly can't say," Hough admitted. "They're literally like - I call them my ex-wives!" The dancer added that they would probably kill him if he were to single out one of them as his favorite.

"Each partner taught me so much... I'm just eternally grateful for them," he continued. "They're amazing, amazing women."

His most recent partner, paralympian Amy Purdy, was "more inspiring" than challenging to Hough. Purdy and Hough managed to come in second place in Season 18, an impressive feat for the former considering she has artificial legs.

Discussing country singer Kellie Pickler, who he won Season 16 with, Hough said that her thick accent "made [him] smile all day."

Hough is in the midst of promoting his new memoir, Taking the Lead: Lessons From a Life in Motion. He will presumably be returning this fall for the 19th season of Dancing With the Stars.

Dancing With the Stars Season 19 is set to premiere Monday, Sept. 15 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC. The network is also planning a separate results show for the first two weeks of competition, to air on Tuesday.
