Danny Williams' (Scott Caan) little brother found himself in a little hot water during season 1, and the fugitive will reenter the picture during the season premiere.
"You'll be happy: [the Matt Williams] story continues in 501," said executive producer Peter Lenkov in response to a fan question on Sunday.

Matt (Dane Cook) was nearly arrested by the FBI four years ago after his stockbroker job led him to commit money fraud. Unable to convince his brother to turn himself in, Danno was forced to watch him fly off into the night.
Although the criminal side of the Williams family rarely comes up on Five-0, Lenkov previously confirmed that Matt would return while Steve McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin) is busy dealing with Catherine Rollins' (Michelle Borth) departure.
We're still breaking story for the season, but a couple places we know want to go this season are McGarrett dealing with Catherine's choice to track down Najib from "Makani ʻOlu a Holo Mālie" ("Fair Winds and Following Seas") will be addressed in the early episodes," Lenkov said of the upcoming season, according to the Honolulu Pulse. "We're going to pick up on the whereabouts of Danny's brother Matt."
