The cast of the A&E drama Longmire boasts a pretty steady social media presence, and yesterday they received a new addition to that list.
A&E Continues To Promote 'Longmire' Even As Show Awaits Renewal For 4th Season
Actress Katee Sackhoff, known as Vic on the series, joined Instagram on Tuesday. She celebrated with a picture of her and some friends.
"My First Instagram Photo…2 of my favs at #LifeRide5 @aMFAR @Kiehls," wrote the star alongside their smiling faces. She then followed it up with a fun motorcycle photo. Both the images are in support of LifeRide, which is an event designed raise money for AIDS research.
'Longmire' Author Doesn't 'Worry' About The Show Being Renewed For A 4th Season
The timing of Sackhoff's new page happens to coincide with Longmire's renewal limbo. Season 3 ended last week and with a fourth season yet to be confirmed, the actress could have created the new social media page in order to boost fan involvement and connectivity. Longmire viewers were excited to see Sackhoff's new pics, voicing their enthusiasm almost imminently in response to her big Instagram debut.
According to CarterMatt on Tuesday, most of the A&E drama's cast are pretty involved with social media, the only exception being star Robert Taylor, who brings to life Sheriff Walt onscreen.
Longmire is still waiting to hear on Season 4, but if the program is renewed, fans can expect new episodes around Memorial Day 2015.
