After months of defending Nikko Smith against claims that he leaked their sex tape, Mimi Faust has learned the shocking truth from one of his former friends.

He made a guest appearance on Monday's episode of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta. Faust reached out to him to find out more about he and Smith's fallout after he confessed to her that he was married to another woman. But what she might not have expected, was for him to reveal that Smith targeted her to do the sex tape to boost his fame.
The former friend admitted to Faust that after they did a video shoot for their song NY to LA , Smith left him hanging to pursue a new opportunity -- making a sex tape with Faust.

He also shed a little light on Smith's mystery wife and told Faust that the two have been married for nearly a decade. And while he is a sex tape star, he and his wife won't be splitting up anytime soon because Smith planned it.
"They got a deep connection. It's an emotional connection. They're like business partners. I've known them for years. Nikko is very calculated in that way. Do you think that the sex tape was 'leaked?' Come on. It was not by accident. The fight's been fixed. It's a set up."
This seemed to be a turning point for Faust considering it wasn't just one of her friends telling her about Smith, it was someone who knew him extremely well.
