Now that Tameka Raymond has made her reality television debut on VH1's Atlanta Exes, her ex-husband, iconic singer Usher opened up about their very public split.

He dished about his marriage in the September issue of Oprah Winfrey's O magazine and contrary to popular belief, he doesn't seem disappointed when it comes to tying the knot with his former stylist.
"Most people probably think I regret it because I ended up getting divorced, but it helped me learn that sometimes I think I know more than I actually do."

He went on to say that it was his "best mistake."
Raymond and Usher were married from 2007-2009 and have two boys together. She currently stars in VH1's Atlanta Exes, a spinoff from Hollywood Exes. The two's fallout has often been the center of headlines from their ugly custody battle to the tragic death of Raymond's son Kile Glover from a previous marriage.
The O.M.G. singer also candidly revealed the best advice he was ever given.
"'If you stay ready, you ain't gonna get ready' -- James Brown told me that right before we performed together at the Grammys in 2005. I've never forgotten it, and I'm always telling people, 'Well, James Brown once told me..."
Raymond also recently opened up about her marriage to the superstar in an interview with VH1 recently. She said she always had to consciously second guess what she ate and even what she put on social media to appease her then husband and uphold a certain image.
