‘Amish Mafia’ Star Esther Schmucker News: Star Officially Not Returning For Fourth Season, Has Disappeared From Public Eye Because Of Imir R Williams Reconciliation? [VIDEO]
If Amish Mafia does return to Discovery this fall, it will officially be without one of its stars, as Esther Schmucker is officially finished with the show-and she may not be returning because of a reconciliation once again with her abusive ex-boyfriend, Imir R. Williams.
Williams was once again in front of a Lancaster judge August 12, after it was revealed that since his previous court hearing in April, he had contacted Schmucker more than 400 times by phone, involving another inmate to serve as a liaison after initial calls.
"I love her, your honor," Williams told Judge Dennis Reinaker at the hearing, as he explained that he initially contacted Schmucker after she was involved in a serious car crash in June. "I didn't even find out about the accident until reading the newspaper. I've been sitting in jail and realized my freedom is important."
Esther Schmucker No Longer Amish?
Williams was initially sentenced to two months in prison in 2013 after assaulting Schmucker on Halloween, breaking her cheek, nose and several teeth. He received an additional five months for violating his parole by contacting Schmucker and moving in with her following his release.
During this most recent hearing, Williams and his defense lawyer, Alan Goldberg confirmed that Schmucker was not returning to the show, telling the judge "She's no longer involved with the show."
As punishment for this violation, Williams was paroled with a stern warning that any further and additional contact would land Williams in a state prison.
Schmucker was allegedly not in the courtroom for the hearing, but was sequestered in a private conference room.
Her possible lack of involvement with the show has been speculated for some time on Schmucker's part, as well as a possible reconciliation with Williams, after she virtually disappeared from her usually active social media accounts.
