Cults, cruise ships, and Steven Weber are all coming to Syfy for season 2 of Helix.

As the real world worries about the Ebola virus, the CDC team of Helix will take to the high seas. A deadly virus has found it's way aboard a cruise ship, and the investigation will grow to involve the leader of an island cult.

Played by Steven Weber (Murder in the First), according to Deadline, this new character will be the leader of a small group bent on creating a utopian society. Suspiciously enough, Weber's suave new persona will also be a well-informed geneticist.
