Lionsgate announced that Age of Adaline would release on January 25, 2015. The film stars Lively and Harrison Ford in the romantic drama.
The film is about when Adaline (Lively) ceases to age following an accident one icy night, but keeps her condition a closely-guarded secret while embarking on a number of incredible adventures throughout the 20th Century. After years of a solitary life, she finds the love and courage that enable her to fully begin living. Oscar-winning actress Ellen Burstyn has been announced to be co-starring in the film.

The movie is right now set to start alongside one other movie, Rob Cohen's psychological thriller The Boy Next Door, which stars Jennifer Lopez.
Not much is known about the film outside of the plot and with the release date coming so soon, a trailer should be appearing in the coming weeks. With the plot seeming to center around a romance, it would be the most likely scenario that Lionsgate would tag the movie with one of the young adult movies coming out this fall.
The most likely case will be the first trailer coming alongside Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1, which is Lionsgate's largest property.
Lee Toland Krieger is directing the film. The director's last film was Celeste & Jesse Forever, which starred Rashida Jones and Andy Samberg. His other feature film credit is writing and directing The Vicious Kind in 2009. The film also stars Amanda Crew and Kathy Baker in smaller roles.
