'Covert Affairs' Season 5 Spoilers: Annie Catches Ryan Speaking To The Man Who's Been Following Roger, What Is He Hiding? [VIDEO]
Covert Affairs is about to take on an intense moment when Annie has to keep herself together after discovering that Ryan had apparently lied to her.
On Monday, TV Line posted a sneak peek of what's to come when Annie is on the phone with Auggie, mentioning this mysterious "dog walker" who's been following Roger. Ryan is speaking to the guy outside, giving some curiosity if they're involved in some sort of devious scheme.
When Ryan comes back in, Annie rapidly hangs up the phone. As she and Ryan make eye contact, it would seem that one of them would casually say something to make it look like neither of them are hiding anything. Instead, Ryan walks up to her in a period of silence, then asks what he missed. He seems to keep his cool about whatever it is he's hiding while Annie tries to do the same.

She lets out a small smile and decides to politely ask who that was at the door. Of course, Ryan doesn't give any big details; he just shrugs it off and says it's a "work thing." Annie doesn't seem to fall for it, and as of now, Ryan might be aware of that. He wants to make sure that she's not leaving.
After another silence on how Annie's going to handle this secret that Ryan could be hiding, she just tells him that she still wants to have coffee with him. The two then stroll off together, keeping their secrets to themselves.
Covert Affairs airs on Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET on USA.
