Granger Returns In 'NCIS: LA' Season 5, Will He Still Be Acting As Hetty?

NCIS and NCIS: LA's Dennis Smith stepped behind the camera once more on Friday, and the director's latest episode promises plenty of pulse-pounding action.

"#NCISLA today, car chases, shoot outs, danger," Smith tweeted on Friday. "Yahoo!"

Sam Hanna (LL Cool J) will probably be at the wheel for the upcoming car chase, and Callen (Chris O'Donnell) is undoubtedly riding shotgun in the agent's Challenger during the untitled episode (see photo here).

Although the air date of the current episode is currently unknown, Smith also helmed the upcoming season 6 premiere. Filmed last spring, "Deep Trouble: Part 2" will pickup where the season 5 finale left off.

With Sam and Callen trapped in an explosive submarine, Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) and Kensi (Daniela Ruah) will quickly take to the skies to track down their teammates as the little sub begins to take on water.
