Here Is Your Guide To MTV's Video Music Awards 2014
The pop star had a Yahoo live streaming performance on Monday, which she recently told Jimmy Fallon about. On The Tonight Show, Swift revealed that if fans watched the Yahoo stream, they would find out secrets she had been keeping for a while. It turns out Swift is releasing new music, and very soon.
The new single, Shake It Off, is a positive and upbeat pop song, which has Swift reflecting on people's criticisms of her. Instead of letting the negativity get to her, she instead wants to shake it off. A lot of the song relates to her love life, discussing how she can never get "guys to stay," as one of her lyrics points out.
Taylor Swift Has Confirmed A 2014 VMA Performance
Shake It Off is the first single of her new album, 1989, which will be released on Oct. 27. The importance of that year is it is Swift's birth year. The young music star announced the album release on Yahoo as well. This is all very similar, as Swift did the same for her album Red.
Now that the star has released this upbeat pop song, will this be the explosive performance she mentioned to Fallon about for her Video Music Awards performance? The video finds Swift dancing, which is what Enstars predicted would happen for her VMA performance.
