Switched at Birth is going to have a Christmas special coming up that will take on a new spin on what would've happened to the girls if they had been given to the biological parents.

Bay & Emmett's Unexpected Discovery Chatter

On Monday, a sneak peek was posted that shows the life that could've been. It then shows Daphne signing and saying that she can hear. It also shows the girls hugging the moms who raised them when all of sudden, their daughters look at each other and say, "The switch never happened" while still using sign language.

This leaves speculation on what kind of episode this will be; odds are likely that it'll be a just for fun type of situation to see what Bay and Daphne's life would've been like if the hospital hadn't screwed up. Daphne would be able to hear and Bay would be the one teaching the others about sign language. Bay also would've grown up in a rundown neighborhood with a father who left her and her mother while Daphne would've been raised in a rich place with two parents and a brother.

'Switched At Birth' Season 3 Finale Chatter

While this episode causes some questions on what will happen next, fans are probably anticipating what's going to happen after the last finale. Daphne was about to be taken away to jail, but Bay took the fall for her, leaving wonder on how this will turn up.

Switched at Birth Season 4 is expected to premiere sometime in January 2015 on ABC Family.
