'CSI: Cyber' Cast Adds Bow Wow As Hacker Savant, Joins Patricia Arquette In CBS Series
CSI: Cyber is continuing to cast for it's 2015 premiere, and rapper Bow Wow (Shad Moss) will now take on the role of Brody "Baby Face" Nelson.
'CSI: Las Vegas' Patricia Arquette To Guest Star, Second 'CSI: Cyber' Tie-in
Only 19 years old, Nelson is a young hacker whose lifestyle has landed him in a little hot water. On loan to the cyber crimes unit in lieu of serving a prison sentence, Nelson was raised into a life of crime but now has a chance to turn over a leaf.
"Bow Wow is a gifted young actor who will have the responsibility, through his character, to set an example for young people who watch the show to 'do what's right' even when you know 'nothing but wrong,'" said CSI creator Anthony E. Zuiker, according to CBS. "It will be a redemption story and a cautionary tale all wrapped into one. The role of Nelson required someone with deep acting chops and off-the-charts smarts. Shad Moss is a unique talent that possesses both."
Moss will star alongside Patricia Arquette (Special Agent Avery Ryan), Peter MacNicol, James Van Der Beek, and Charley Koontz.
