Jurassic World To Release In 3D?

Pratt went on to reveal that Jurassic World will be quite different from the 1994 original.

"This is new and cutting edge, it has a point of view about how society has changed since the original came out."

Pratt's character will do behavorial research on raptors, director Colin Trevorrow revealed in an interview on May 30.

"Chris Pratt's character is doing behavioral research on the raptors. They aren't trained, they can't do tricks," he said. "He's just trying to figure out the limits of the relationship between these highly intelligent creatures and human beings. If people don't think there's potential in those ideas, maybe they won't like this movie. But I ask them to give it a chance."

The Jurassic Park films are based on Michael Crichton's series of novels about pre-historic beasts being revived by revolutionary gene technology. Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley are co-producing the film alongside Steven Spielberg, who directed the first two installments in the franchise. Bryce Dallas Howard, Irrfan Khan and Ty Simpkins also star in the movie.

The film will hit theaters on June 12, 2015.
