Christian Grey got wet. Jamie Dornan who plays Grey in the upcoming Fifty Shades of Grey movie took the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge Tuesday with good friend actor Eddie Redmayne.

Redmayne went first and nominated Dornan, who then appeared in the video. Before he took the challenge, Dornan nominated The Amazing Spider-Man actor and good friend Andrew Garfield. The Ice Bucket Challenge raises money and awareness for ALS, a.k.a. Lou Gehrig's disease.

The rules for the ALS Challenge are that you either accept the challenge by pouring ice on your head and donating ten dollars to the ALS charity of your choice, or if you don't want to pour ice, you may donate 100 dollars to the ALS charity of your choice. Many celebrities have participated in the worthy cause already including Cristiano Ronaldo, Jennifer Lopez, Selena Gomez and Nina Dobrev.

Dornan also recently joined Instagram. The actor posted his first picture on Monday, a selfie declaring that he was in fact himself. Dornan's film Fifty Shades of Grey co-starring Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele will be in theatres next year.

Dornan is also in talks to join Guy Ritchie's project as King Arthur. Ritchie was reportedly "blown away" by Dornan. "Jamie is keen on the role, too, and his US agents are keen to work out a deal where he'll be able to do both franchises," a source told The Daily Mail last week. "They have to convince Universal to allow Jamie to make the film with Warner Brothers, which isn't looking promising."
