'Expendables 4' News: Stallone Is Working On 'Rambo 5' Next, Could Push Next Installment Back [VIDEO]
While the most recent Expendables movie didn't blow up at the box office like they hoped, it seems like most of the cast is willing to return for a fourth adventure. But when will it be coming?

It seems like the head of the operation may be moving to another project before he does another Expendables movie. During an interview with Vulture earlier this month, Sylvester Stallone talked about moving on to Rambo 5 after the conclusion of the most recent Expendables movie.
"I'm getting ready for ['Rambo 5']. I'm starting to work out. I'm going to be appropriately vicious and all that stuff, but intellectual," Stallone said.

"A killer with a heart. Smart, yet stupid. Tall, yet short. Broad, but thin. You know what I mean. We're going to try to cover all the boundaries."
According to ScreenRant, "the Rambo 5 screenplay pits the rugged warrior John Rambo against a Mexican drug cartel threat. Sly's script almost certainly lends itself to another brutal action/thriller - one that is more on the level of the hard R-Rated 2008 Rambo film, as opposed to Sly's recent Expendables features," the site said.
"Rambo 5 may also have a fittingly somber, end of an era feel to it - "his version of 'No Country for Old Men.'"
But could this mean the Expendables 4 gets pushed back? It seems like Stallone will try and put an end to his Rambo character before returning as Barney Ross. While a slew of names, including Pierce Brosnan and Jackie Chan, have been rumored for the next movie, it may have to wait for a few years.
