‘Sister Wives’ Cast News: Meri & Robyn Keeping Away From Rest Of Family, First & Fourth Wives Doing Their Own Thing And Hinting At Trouble In Paradise? [VIDEO]
It will be a long time before fans of TLC's Sister Wives will get to see their favorite polygamous family on TV again, but trouble may be plaguing the marriages during the off-season.
Potential Robyn Pregnancy Being Kept Secret To Increase Ratings?
Season five packed an emotional punch, as Meri continuously confronted her feelings about not necessarily being important to the family, and Robyn fought rumors of a pregnancy-but despite the family refusing to answer questions about a possible pregnancy, and Meri assuring she was happy with her marriage arrangement during the season's post-finale reunion show, both wives appear to be somewhat missing from recent family events.
Not only has a photo of Kody with wives Janelle and Christine wound up on social media, but the three have all shared tweets about goings on with their children-something Meri and Robyn have both not participated in.
Meri Continues Hinting Her Unhappiness?
Kody was spotted at the Lasik Surgery Center of Nevada with Christine and Janelle-but both Meri and Robyn were not present at the outing. In addition, the family has been celebrating Christine and Kody's daughter, Truely, one year after the little girl was hospitalized with kidney failure-and while wives two and three, as well as Kody, have tweeted about it, both Meri and Robyn have remained silent.
Kody and Janelle both retweeted Christine's August 20 post featuring a photo of Truely, and her happiness that her daughter was now healthy-and Janelle even tweeted about Christine's daughter for herself.
"Watching Truely dance her heart out during the hymns at church and trying not to giggle. Today she is home from the hospital one year!" she wrote on her page August 24, before continuing with more posts about the young child.
"Having a small family tea party in honor of Truely. She says prayer over food and says 'bless I stay out of hospital a 1000 yrs' Amen! Amen!," she wrote.
However, Robyn has been conspicuously absent from her Twitter page since the reunion show, only really going on her page after the death of comedian Robin Williams, where she talked about the great misunderstanding people had about depression, and while Meri hasn't been absent from social media, she appears to fully be independent of the family these days-doing her own thing and going out with friends.
Meri has posted a series of photos on her page, showing herself going out with friends to different concerts and country nights-with none of her sister wives or her husband in sight.
If the two being somewhat absent from family events is any indication of what fans can expect in the new season whenever it airs, then the show could be taking a wildly different and increasingly dramatic turn.
