Fifty Shades Of Grey Movie: Harry Potter actress Emma Watson to play Anastasia Steele?
"Fifty Shades Of Grey" author E.L. James has said that casting for actors to portray the lead characters in the film adaptation of her hit book are not for a while but that has not stopped the press from speculating who is being considered for the lead role.
The Daily News recently reported that Emma Watson is in talks to play the role of Anastasia Steele.
According to the paper, "The actress is the hot favorite to be chosen by film producers Mike DeLuca and Dana Brunetti."
"The 22-year-old is said to have the right looks for the part, combining a degree of innocence with the acting skills to portray the young graduate who gets swept into a world of sado-masochistic sex with a kinky billionaire Christian Grey."
But according to Gossipcop, the rumor is not true. The website reached out to a rep for Watson, who told the website exclusively that there was "no truth" to the casting rumor.
Watson rose to fame as a child, playing the role of Hermione Granger in the "Harry Potter" film series. The 22-year-old starred in all eight Harry Potter films alongside Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint from 2001 to 2011. Watson earned several awards and over $15 million for her work on the "Harry Potter" series.
