The operational psychologist was a staple of the series freshman run, but now Nate (Peter Cambor) only makes an occasional appearance. Fans can expect to see the insightful character in episode 4 (airing order subject to change).

A new behind-the-scenes photo shows Cambor at a table read with Miguel Ferrer (Granger), Barrett Foa (Eric), Daniela Ruah (Kensi), LL Cool J (Sam), Chris O'Donnell (Callen), Linda Hunt (Hetty Lange), Eric Christian Olsen (Deeks), and Renee Felice Smith (Nell) on Tuesday.

Last season, Getz helped pick up the team's psychological pieces after "Ascension," and perhaps the events of "Deep Trouble: Part 2" or Kensi's experience in Afghanistan will help prompt his return (see video below).

Diana Valentine ("Three Hearts," "Fallout") will direct the episode, which is titled "The 3 rd Choir" and was panned by newbie LA writer Dana Scanlon and longtime vet R. Scott Gemmill ("Deep Trouble," "War Cries"). Filming is set to begin on Wednesday.
