'The Voice' Winner Josh Kaufman Says Usher Still Has His Back
A recent video surfaced from The Voice's own YouTube channel showcasing the new judges for season 7. Alongside regulars Adam Levine and Blake Shelton will be Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams. Happy singer Pharrell explains in the video, "An artist is an artist. That's what I love about The Voice, it's allowed all of us to express ourselves." While he is saying this, the video is showing all the judges happily hugging and posing for the camera, in which Williams barely changes his pose.
In a preview clip of an audition, Stefani is shown standing up on her chair, with Shelton stating "Gwen brings this very honest, very humble power to the table." Previews of Williams have other judges making jokes about Happy, his hit single and features Williams' soon to be signature line, "I know what to do with that voice." The singer says it three times in the preview video alone, with Levine making fun of him on the fourth time around.
With Stefani and Williams added to the mix, expect this upcoming season to be very fun. The judges showcase great chemistry between them. All of the audition previews featured extremely great voices, with all of the judges having to fight to win them over to join their team. Last season's winner was from team Usher. Without Usher there this year, whose team will produce the champion this year?
