Jennifer Aniston says that she doesn't think that women should be valued based on just marriage and motherhood. The Hollywood actress recently sat down for an interview in which she expressed her thoughts on feminism, the public interest in her personal life and her movie career.

Aniston told Carson Daly on The Today Show that women shouldn't be judged on what they have or haven't done yet at a certain time in their lives. For years, there has been speculation on whether or not Aniston would become pregnant, but it looks as though having babies isn't a top priority in her life for now, at least.

She explained, "I don't have this sort of checklist of things that have to be done, and ... if they're not checked, then I've failed some part of my feminism or my being a woman or my worth and my value as a woman."

As far as her career goes, Aniston added that she's grateful for all the opportunities she's received since her hit television show Friends ended 10 years ago. She said, "I kind of feel very grateful to my evolution and my history ... I would never exchange it for anything."

As far as her movie career now, the 45-year-old big screen star says that she's also enjoying taking no more darker film roles these days, such as her latest box office offering, Life of Crime.

"I'm having a lot of fun," Aniston added. "Because I've been branching out and having fun playing different characters and hiding and going into ... you know, some darker stuff. So I'm excited about it."
