'X-Men: Apocalypse' Movie News: Marvel Head Kevin Feige Praises 'Days of Future Past' But Doesn't Like 'The Last Stand' [VIDEO]
While they are at different studios, it seems like even the big guys at Marvel are able to say something nice about the other superhero movies out there, even if it is technically their own brand as well.
Marvel head Kevin Feige talked with Comic Book Movie recently about the most recent X-Men movie, Days of Future Past, and how much he enjoyed it.
"I've been thinking about Days of Future Past a lot, which I had nothing to do with, in terms of the resurrection of a franchise," he said. "I think they did a very good job with that."

But one X-Men movie Feige is not a fan of is the third one in the original trilogy, The Last Stand.
"On Iron Man 3, I thought a lot about X-Men 3 and Spider-Man 3 and I thought a lot about Toy Story 3, and how to avoid falling into threequelitis, which is why we went down a lot of the roads we went down on that movie," Feige explained.
It is interesting to see that he liked Days of Future Past so much since they will be featuring a character in that movie in the upcoming Marvel movie, Avengers: Age of Ultron. Quicksilver, portrayed by Evan Peters in Days of Future Past, will show up in Ultron and be played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson.
Peters was well-received in his short exposure in the character and was brought back for X-Men: Apocalypse in a larger role.
X-Men: Apocalypse is set to open in theaters on May 27, 2016.
