Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) came back to Los Angeles for two things-and while he has successfully repaired his relationship with his daughter, Hope (Kim Matula), he is still working on getting her mother, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) to consider a romance with him again on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Brooke and Deacon Share A Moment

And, despite scheming with Quinn (Rena Sofer) to ensure Brooke and Bill (Don Diamont) don't wind up married, he will still talk to his daughter about his feelings-and will assure her that if her mother would give him another chance that he'd be the man he should have been for her years ago-something Bill has proven he can't be.

"She thought he was a guy that she could believe in and depend on and he wasn't," Deacon says to Hope in a preview clip for the Thursday, August 28 episode. "And I am. And I'm going to prove it."

Ivy Makes A Move On Liam

And though Hope is having her own mini crisis with her love life, she won't hesitate to let her father know that she fully approves of his desire to reunite with her mom-and encourages him to do something about it.

"If you love her, then she needs to know," she says.

And while Hope may be excited over the possibility of her parents getting back together, she won't be as happy when her new husband, Wyatt (Darin Brooks) comes home from a day with her ex-boyfriend (and his brother) Liam (Scott Clifton).

An earlier clip for the week's episodes saw that Liam's old friend Bob Barker would stop by once again to see how Liam is doing-and after Wyatt also shows up things don't end well for him, as Bob will beat him up and push him down a hill.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
