One of the biggest villains on ABC's popular primetime soap Scandal is switching over to another ABC show this fall: Castle.

Rick & Beckett Facing Problems Together In Season 7 of Castle

Matt Letscher, who played the villainous Billy Chambers in the first two seasons of Scandal, has been cast for Season 7 of Castle, according to a new report by TVLine. He will be guest starring in the season premiere, which is set for Sept. 29.

Letscher will play Henry Jenkins, a security consultant who "provides Beckett [Stana Katic] with information on the most important case of her life."

Alexis Will Have 'Tension' With Kate When Castle Returns

This suggests that Letscher's Henry will be helping Beckett go deep into investigating the fiery car wreck that Castle (Nathan Fillion) got into in the Season 6 finale.

New Castle showrunner David Amann previously spoke with Give Me My Remote about Beckett's newfound drive at the beginning of Season 7.

"She's committed to getting to the bottom of what happened with Castle," Amann said. "That's really her focus and her mission. She's going to do that, and she's going to take that as far as she can go to get answers. That's what she's focused on."

Former showrunner Andrew W. Marlowe assured fans in the same interview that there is a plan involved.

"It'll also take that relationship to a much more interesting place, we feel. And so we know the fans were a little bit like, 'What are you guys doing?' We have something planned that we're kind of excited about, and we hope that people come back and play along." he said.

Castle Season 7 premieres Monday, Sept. 29 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
