The teasers for American Horror Story: Freak Show are becoming more and more disturbing as the October premiere date comes closer. The latest teaser is titled Head to Toe and features a performer resting her head on a post and she contorts to place her legs on top of her face. Then, a third leg comes in between the two legs and touches her face, creating a disturbing image.
Another teaser titled Caged features a person smushed into a birdcage with various bird sounds in the background. The person appears to be trying to break free as a tall man places his hand on the cage, as if to tame the person.

The other teaser is titled Spotlight and centers on a performer balancing on an aerial ring as a spotlight is focused on them. It is soon revealed that the performer has three legs.
American Horror Story has used these types of teasers in all four seasons. While it is not necessarily new footage from the upcoming season, it gives fans a taste of the overall feeling of what's ahead.
Freak Show takes place in 1952 and centers on one of the last remaining freak shows in America. Set in Jupiter, Fla., Elsa Mars (Jessica Lange) goes around "saving" various people with abnormal features and uses them as performers in her show.
The Freak Show begins Wednesday, Oct. 8 at 10 p.m. on FX.
