‘Sleepy Hollow’ Season 2 Spoilers: Latest Preview Teases That ‘War Is Hell,’ Shows Major Destruction And Possible Death? [VIDEO]
Fans of FOX's Sleepy Hollow don't have to wait much longer for the second season of the hit show to return, and a new preview clip appears to promise that the show will be full of tense moments and drama when it returns.
Following a dramatic season one finale, which saw Captain Irving (Orlando Jones) head to jail, Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) get buried alive and Abbie (Nicole Beharie) wind up in purgatory, it appears that both Ichabod and Abbie have escaped their terrifying situations and are once again free in Sleepy Hollow to try and prevent the drama that will be wreaked on the town by the Horsemen of the Apocalypse.
But, they will soon learn that their battle won't get any easier, as Ichabod's son has been revealed as the Horseman of War-and he has teamed up with the Headless Horseman-who is also Abraham Von Bront (Richard Cetrone) to start a war-potentially over Ichabod's marriage to Katrina (Katia Winter), who is now Abraham's captive.
However, the war could begin with a traumatic turn if Abraham feels the need to take action against Katrina-which could prove fatal, if a scene in the clip is any indication.
"I'm not afraid of you," she says in the clip as he pulls out a knife.
Her declaration however, does not stop him from plunging the knife into the table in front of her-possibly hinting that he won't hesitate to kill.
But Ichabod's son is also going to stir up endless amounts of trouble for Ichabod and Abbie as they try to solve the centuries old mysteries before its too late.
"War is Hell," he says in the clip.
Sleepy Hollow season 2 premieres Monday, September 22 at 9 p.m. on FOX.
