While fans wait for the new season of The CW's Hart of Dixie to premiere, an insider has confirmed that Rachel Bilson is having a baby girl.

The actress has been toting her growing baby bump around Los Angeles and now Us Weekly has been told the sex of the baby.
"She's so excited to be having a baby girl. She's wanted it for a long time and is going to be an amazing mom. Everyone is ecstatic for her."
The site also released the details of Bilson's simple baby shower that took place Sunday. Bilson and her first child were celebrated at an exclusive home in Los Angeles. Guests ranged from those she was closest to in her pre-famous and high school days to her Hart of Dixie co-star Jaime King. Actress and fellow celebrity mother Natalie Portman also attended the event.
Aside from being a celebrity-studded shower, Bilson's was quite unique as instead of getting gifts, the guests brought a "birth bead."
"Each person gave her a piece of advice and a blessing along with the bead. She will use the beads for strength during labor," a source told the magazine.
They tied the beads together to create a necklace for the former The OC actress.
Guests also didn't walk home empty-handed. They were given party favors such as tea and mints. Bilson even created her own slogan to label that bags that read, "Rachel & Baby, Mint to Be."
Bilson just celebrated her 33rd birthday with her boyfriend Hayden Christensen on August 25.
